libxerces-c1_1.sl

When i compile my code, using the makefile, I get the following error:

ld: Mismatched ABI (not an ELF file) for -llibxerces-c1_1.sl
Fatal error.
*** Error exit code 1

Can anybody please suggest on this?

How are you running make?

I suggest googling the error message "Mismatched ABI (not an ELF file)"

It generally appears when you use a library built for an different architecture that doesn't work with your own.
