i want to read variable value in .xml file so plz help me

this is the code

get the node:
document.getElementsByTagName("parameter")

Make sure the name attribute exists in this node.
If you only have one parameter node in your xml, this may not be necessary.

Once you find the node, say node, use the value attribute, eg
this.setAttribute('src', node.value);
