Error loading page: invalid xml declaration

I have the following problem:

I am building a piece of software I made using jboss on a new server and try to run it, but it seems something is wrong with xml. I get the following error:

The XML page cannot be displayed 
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. 
 
Invalid xml declaration. Line 48, Position 3 
 
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
--^
 

Since everything worked fine on the previous server, I can't discover what is going wrong. Moreover, when I load the page on the previous server and then on the new one, it seems to work but only for one time. Reloading it returns the same error again. Does anybody have a clue what is going on here? Thanks a lot in advance!

Try to change the encoding, for instance:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

If still fails, please post your XML code.
