Beginner XML --> XSL Question

1
Hey all,

I'm setting up a website for a game that my club plays. the site is to keep a record of the games played for a league.

We have a spreadsheet to prepare the team rosters which I want to be able to easily update on our website.

To do this I setup a button in excel that exports the data to an xml file. This works fine. The problem I have is with the table I tried to prepare in xsl.

I am having troubles setting the width of the table when the table is set to auto. I changed to fixed and am able to set the width of the table however one of fields is sometimes quite long and the box needs to increase in height as the field gets too big for the box.

Much help would be appreciated - I tried looking at learning xslfo at w3schools but think this is a bit past my skill levels.

Cheers,

J
