Passing XML from VB to ORACLE table

1
HI,

I have 19 years experience with Oracle products, including PL/SQL, but none with XML. I have to take XML from VB front end and, with PL/SQL, update a certain table in ORACLE RDBMS 9i R2.

The XML (from VB) contains multiple records. And with the Prim. Key, included in the XML, I have to update a table. Where do I start? I've been reading here and there, but XML is a vast world. I just want somebody to point me in the right direction. If somebody as ever done something like this, help would be aprreciated.

Thanks,

Marc.
