can't open a word file

P: 1
Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try the following:
* Check the access permissions for the document or drive.
* Check if there is enough memory and disk space.
* Open the file using the backup Converter.
Help open or advise what to do with it. You really need to open))

What is the error that you are receiving?

You might just have a corrupt file that can no longer be opened.

Open Word
Click on the Office Button -> Open
Single-click on the file you want to open
In the lower right corner, where the Open button is, click on the arrow beside it and select Open and Repair

What version of Office was your Word created? If it's corrupt, try to rename file extension to .zip, unzip it and you can recover the images and text contents inside it.
