So, I am trying to use PDQ Deploy to install files remotely to the machines on my network. However, I am running into a problem with the Admin$ folder. The way PDQ works is that it creates a temp file on the remote machine's Admin$ folder that has the .exe file inside. PDQ then runs this .exe allowing you to sit in the computer of your cubicle and install many, many apps at once....
...The problem is that windows (at least our machines) does not have 'LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy' added into the registry. This registry file allows for File Sharing essentially. So now, I am faced with going to each computer and adding this reg file manually before I can use PDQ.
I am toying with the idea of using Psexec, robocopy, or something similar to copy/run a batch file on each machine that adds the reg file. Just curious if anyone else has encountered this and how you went about solving it.
