Opening .dbx files without Outlook Express

I have just upgraded my computer from XP to Windows 7 and all my old emails are now saved as .dbx files. Windows 7 does not support Outlook Express so I am currently using Windows Live Mail. I have also downloaded an old version of Outlook(2003)but that hasn't helped me. How can I open my old emails? All the programs I have looked at all seem to be aimed at opening .dbx files in OE. Any help would be gratefully received
