Which version of OpenSSL is best for Windows Server 2003?

I am trying to create an application link between Atlassian Jira and a Liferay application. I have consulted the Atlassian support sites and they pointed me to use OpenSSL to create private and public keys for the two servers. My issue is that OpenSSL seems to be a piece of Linux OS software (i could be wrong, very wrong) and I am working with Windows Server 2003 OS; so I understand that there is are versions for Windows machines available but which version should I be looking for and where should I get it from?
