Files with os windows 7 do not run properly in WindowsXP

Powerpoint presentations that I create and save since upgrading to Windows 7 do not run properly on computer with Windows XP. What can be done about this? Did not have this problem before upgrading from Windows Vista.

Looks strange. Could you please try to save presentation in OLD PowerPoint format?
Maybe issue is not related to operation system, most probably that PowerPoint on machine with Win XP has older version of PowerPoint.

To save in old format use Save AS feature instead of Save and select PowerPoint 97-2003 (*.ppt). After that please try to open this file (.ppt) on workstation with WinXP.

Thank you. I have already tried saving in power point 97. The computer I use for my presentations runs XP, when I was on Vista. This problem began after I upgraded to Windows 7, although not every time. Both computers have the same version of power point through MS Office. I cannot find anything within power point that would cause this, which is why I suspect OS 7 versus XP. HELP...

I compose presentation with animation and save it to PP ppt, pps and ppsm, and save to flash drive. (Giving myself an option if one does not work) Before saving, preview with Slide Show. When finished and after saving, I go to Windows Explorer and run PP Show to make sure everything is good. On my computer with Windows 7, all is well. On the other computer with XP, animations do not work properly. if at all, and some graphics are in different positions making presentation unusable.
