turn on the computer get an error that 0x30454f4d occured in the location 0x769bfbae

When I turn on the computer I get an error that 0x30454f4d occurred in the location 0x769bfbae. The computer then shuts down the HP Total Care Advisor. I am not very computer savvy but can do it with a little advice. Thank you.

Un-install HP Total Care Advisor (from Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel) and restart.

Then if you really want to use HP Total Care Advisor re-install it.

Thank you Banfa. That sounds easy enough do you know of any great need for the Advisor? How would I re-install it easily?

HP Total Care Advisor is definitely the sort of thing that I would not bother installing. I would suggest that you search the web if you want to find out more about it.

Thank you for all of your help. I uninstall after making a restore point.
