stop accessing my PC by anyone from linux on local network

Hi everyone,

I saw someone from Linux have some window open where they can see what im doing like they can see my desktop and access my files. Please tell me how i can prevent that access to my PC.

I am running Windows XP.

The only 100% way is to unplug it from the network and disable any wifi. But, you could also set up a firewall, close as many ports as you can, turn off telnet and ssh, set up accounts with strong passwords that you change regularly, and run a full scan for any malware on your system.
