Help! I cannot open some websites!

I can open sites like Yahoo,youtube,google,facebook and others, but i can't open ALL Tumblr sites (if I try to open,it loads forever, and never opens.no error messages or something,just takes forever to load).I used chrome,IE and Firefox,but failed. I had just scanned for viruses(negative),have already installed Java.What can I do next?I can't also open some websites like Multiply,Photobucket,some forums,some articles,etc. Any insights? Help! Thanks!

Hi brackenjo!

Do these sites work fine for other people? Could it be something with a proxy, you're going through? Or do the sites have something in common as far as you can tell?

Also, what version of Windows are you using, have you installed all of the newest system updates and are there other computers using the same internet connection? If so, can they access these sites?
