Please Select Program To Open: F:\

My Windows XP computer keeps asking me what program to open my external usb drives. I know to open them with "explorer" in the WINDOWS file on my hard-drive. How do I set it so that it will use the "explorer" program each time I try to open it? (p.s. It will not let me select "use selected program to open this type of file.")
