how to delete aotorun.inf

sir,
my system has got infected by autorun.inf virus and i m using avast antivirus which is not able to catch the virus .so can u tell me any such method to manually delete the virus.

You can try installing some free versions of other antiviri, to see if they can catch the problem.

i tried avg but it was also unable to delete it. isn't there any manul way of removing it. it has badly affected the system. drives have became autoplay.

Drives starting automatically when autorun.inf is present is the default setting.
Try looking up on google how to change that setting in your version of windows if you don't like it that way.
