ftp contains is not showing in general form

Dear Team,

There is a problem with internet explorer 7 . when i upgrade my internet explorer 6 to its 7th version then everything is working well but when we open any intranet ftp then it open ftp and shows all its contents a web file while they are all folder and the problem is similar to all subfolder of its parents folder .and its all contains behaviours is different.
so plz give the solution i want general setting for ftp contents
