BSOD after installing acronis true image 2009

hi there, i just recently got this acronis true image 2009, with curiosity, i tried it,
first i got 100Gig of HDD space in my computer, 41.9 where filled up, another partition is empty,
my system is windows xp home edition, i am using vaio laptop, 1gb mem, 100Gig HDD,


now i loaded acronis into my CD ROM, then reboot my pc, i just followed what we initially did in the office( Im an OJT) so i did it, then after finishing the default and the image, i rebooted my system then BSOD just comes along, i tried booting from safemode but it didnt work, thanks in advance
