Task bar problem

my pc got stuck and i had to shut it down manually through the shut down button but when i turned it on again the task bar appeared for a sec and then disappeared..................
i wish to know if there any possible way to turn it back on and what's the problem that's causing it

Hello,

Are you able to see desktop icons such as My computer, My documents etc.?

Are you sure that it's not just hidden? It's possible that it got "resized" all the way down to nothing.

Move your mouse to the very bottom of the screen, and see if the mouse icon changes to the resize icon (the double arrow) and if it does, click and drag it up.
