Windows locks out hyperlinks

I am not entirely sure what has happened over the past couple of weeks, but suddenly, Windows is locking out all hyperlink access inside all Microsoft programs. This means that if I want to go to a link, I have to cut and paste the link into my browser instead of just clicking on the link.

I have gone through every security feature that I can think of trying to undo this. However, I have had no success. Can anyone tell me what changed and how to undo it?

Best regards,

Hm, weird. Which Microsoft Programs exactly are affected? Also, have you installed anything that would affect links, like a new browser maybe?

Greetings,

Hello,

If the problem is with Micrsoft office then I would advice using OpenOffice.

If the problem is with IE then I would advice using Mozilla firefox or Opera.

If the problem is with Windows Media player (?) then I would advice using Mplayer or VLC media player.

If the problem is with Windows XP (or Vista probably) then I would advice using Linux :)

Well, that is just what I think..........You may have different opinions;)

Hope this helps;).......
