Removing already installed files

Hi

I formatted my notebook but with new formatting not with the already existing one.Now there is files of ms office like msacess excel. Now I tried to install the new version of windows ms-office It was installed with some errors which I had posted in different thread. The previous file was in the path c:/ProgrammeFiles/Windows/Excel and the new one is at c:/ProgrammeFiles/ms-office/Excel When I want to delete the prevoius one It is not getting deleted and the it is having only folder architecture not the contents It is showing that folder bin is being used by some prograamme.

So please let me know ehich .exe file is using this bin folder. And if I will stop that exe file from task mangr what will be the current impact on my notebook.
