freddieMaize
Hi Guys,

I run a lot of task in my system. Every day i shut down the system.. Which means, when i come the next day i have got to start all the task again which consumes a lot of time..

I know there is a way to save the task and shut down and keep them opended when i start my system again.. But i know the way of doing it..

I checked google too.. unable to find..

I use windows xp

try searching for -

windows hibernation
suspend windows
Windows Startup folder

it all depends what you want to do and how much power you want to use to save time but a quick google of the above terms will give you plenty to read

me personally I find it easiest to just stick stuff I use regularly in the startup folder on the PC and then just switch it on and walk away for 5 mins

i would look into windows hibernation. its very simple and it basically does what you're looking for i think, it burns like an .iso to the harddrive, and when the system first boots, it reads the .iso and resumes basically, its a pretty neat feature, on NEWER pc's. umm take a look at this link...windows hibernation pretty neat and quick to resume tasks, and save power on laptops(for mobility)....
