Logoff Takes Forever Win 2k3 SP2

233 100+
One of servers takes forever to complete the logoff process. This system runs terminal services, so I thought it may be an issue with roaming profiles, which we use, but I experience the same slow logoff when using a local admin account. I have installed the UPHClean utility, but I have not noticed any improvements. I am going to run some scans for malware and whatnot, but is there anything else I should be looking at initially?

Logoffs take the expected amount of time when performed from the console. Must be an issue with the system I am using, either RDP or something else.

If it's Windows SBS 2003, you could try to disable all services related to Exchange. These usually take a very long time to stop.

Rebooting took care of it. I also later noticed that it was only happening on one of my system given no users complained.
