hey im setting up a computer need help.....

hey i have my computer all set up but... its been a while and my computer.......


says...after its all to gether....

On the back of your hard drive there are pins ( you don't plug a cable into these pins) but there is a little sleeve type thing that you can take off and place on different pins. It should cover two pins at a time. There should also be a diagram in your hard drive manual or right above the pins that tells you how to set that sleeve so that your hard drive is set to master.

I beleive there are a couple different settings... Cable Select, Master, Slave.

It seems like yours is set to slave, the reasoning they have these it for people with multiple hard drives.
