Service Under Windows Server 2003

Creating a service under windows server 2003
Here is the message :
Error 1053 the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

The same service is running under windows XP

ANY IDEA?

not sure if you are still waiting for an answer on this but what service are you trying to start? A lot more information will be needed in order to help you out on this one.
I think this question should be in the "system administration/windows" forum.

As Dave says, you will have to provide more information about what you are doing if you want to get an answer to your question though.

Hi guys,

I'm creating a service ( a function that could be launch at boot )
as i said the same program (service ) is running under XP, but server 2003 is giving the error message mentionned.
