Two operating system (linux & windows XP)

HI, I have another problem, actually my desktop computer have two operating system one is linux and one is window xp. I want to formate both the OS. Actually i want formate the my system with the help of Windows XP bootable CD. But becaue of the linux os, all the bios option are disable. How can i formate both the OS. plz give me a guide ..

What Linux distribution are you using? I have dual booted Linux and Windows for a while and never once had my Bios options disabled by it. You should be able to format your Windows partition without issue, but know that you would have to update your boot loader if you change anything, such as the OS you have on that partition.

Hi me Nafees

firstly go to the windows xp go to computer managment and then delete the partition of linux

then restart the system before that u have to put windows xp CD on the cd rom

after that go to del option give the boot from CD and the u r able to install the xp after that install the linux RHEL or any other
