Slowness and shutting down with that message means your fan is plugged up with dust & debris (or the fan is dead). In either case, if you don't have the skills to open it, then take it to a repair shop.

I had the same problem with my laptop a few weeks ago. The best thing i can advise is to completley wipe your computer and re-install it. if this doesn't work. chances are you need more ram. i would recogmend "kingstoncomputers". you will get the same ram but for hamf the price. Again, if this does't work. your just wasted £40 odd quid on useless ram. and however much you spend on you notebook. lol

hope that helps

Time to buy some Dust OFF and clean your laptop out. Specially if you have an old p4 inside. You might also want to open it (if you think you can do it) and blow all the dust off the heatsink and cpu fan. Also download and run a diagnostic on your pc from the manufacturer, if you could provide us with the make and model we could assist you much better.

Regards, Cyberdyne.
