when i right click on a drive i get an "autoplay" option in the popup menu. when i double click the drive then it doesnt opens and says copy.exe is missing. i am only able to open my drive by right clicking and selecting the open option from the menu....

You are in a big trouble even if you reinstall your windows your problem remain unless you format all of of your drives.
As i do when i have this problem.
After reinstalling windows whenever you open a drive except C:\ the virus will activate.
You have to delete RAVMON.exe and its related files or any other hidden file in D:\ or anyother drive except window directory drive.
After reinstalling windows copy all the data from D:\ to C:\ and then format D:\
Now copy data from E:\ to D:\ and format E:\ and so on.
But don't open the drives by double clicking on the drive type the letter in run then press enter.

This virus must be come from a USB Drive. Before opening a USB Drive check for the virus in usb right click on the usb drive letters if the popup menue is normal then check inside is there any .exe file with icon a folder icon and the same name the parent folder has.
If it exist then delete that .exe folder.
For exmple there is a folder name ABC when you open if you find another folder ABC.exe delete that file don't open that file else your computer will be infected with the same virus now you have.
If the popup is abnormal then open USB Drive manuaaly without double clicking on that copy your desired files/folders and format that USB.

If you have above problem with your other folders on your HDD then delete all files don't open that.

Have you ever connected you mobile/cellphone to your computer? If yes then this virus is very common in mobiles/cellsphones a folder containing an exe withe the parrent folder name will exists in every folder copied from mobile/cellphone.

Other wise it directly hits your .exe files.

You have seen one thing more in taskmanager
runouce.exe following by username.
This is also a type of virus.

Now every time you open an exe file from even you have formatted your HDD or reinstall you windows runouce will be activated if the exe file is played from your HDD.

Try to install your all softwares directly from CD.

If you want to save any software then scan your HDD but after scan you will find that more exe files are not more remain to be play they will be cleaned by Antivirus and been also removed some binary data from that exe.

I have made a long time with these viruses and have tried all the solutions even take a big risk with registry but i can't get rid of these but doing and avoiding the all things i have told you.
