Limewire Ports

im trying to download music from limewire but my windows firewall is blocking the connection even though i checked limewire as an excemption the firewall is still blocking it, ive tried turning it off and reloading it but nothing happens. please help

You'll have to make sure, the ports that limewire want's to use are allowed by the firewall. The Standard seems to be 6346, but you can check that within your Software yourself.

Are you going to school and live on res? cuz if you do, theres nothing you can do to make limewire work. School networks block p2p before it even gets to your computer so there is nothing wrong with your computer.
