HDD detection in Windows 2000 Server

Today i installed Windows 2000 Server in a 300 GB the Operating System got installed properly but the hard disc is showing a maximum size of 127 GB instead of 300 GB. But in the BIOS it is showing 300 GB.

How can I solve it in windows 2000 ?

Please help me.

Hi job8663 welcome to TSDN,

download the newest Service Pack (i think its SP4) and it will correct the issue.

Windows XP SP1 and below were not design to recognize larger drives.

I have Installed all the available updates from windows update along with Service Pack 4 (SP4). Then also it is not showing.
