recover MS access

Hi-y@ll-
I had a 2003 version of MS Access put onto my computer for education purposes.. When I started having alot of problems at everylevel like those of contamination, I was advised to do a complete system recovery or whatever you may call-it, I lost alot of files and etc. which I can live with, but I also lost Access. I am in the middle of a course for access and deperately need it back to avoid getting an F, and loosing the approx. $250. I have invested in the course and book. Is there anyway to get it before investing more $? I have been searching to no avail.
Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated.

Access 2007 trail version or maybe this find on ebay is not too much of an investment.
