There seem to be two settings on my machine: one for when I launch the browser and one for when the system does it in response to a hyperlink. In the first case it's always the last state of the browser when I closed it. In the second, it's always minimized. Find out more about this by posting in the Windows Forum.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. If, by "browser", you mean Internet Explorer:
  2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Document Windows
  3.     Maximized=yes

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Document Windows

Don't forget you can find that path in the registry editor...
You can access it by pressing start-run and type regedit

Funny; I thought that I had said that. Also, I don't like telling just anyone how to modify there registry. And If I do, I like to warn them that using regedit can cause damage to their system if they don't know what they are doing.

another way would be to right click your browser icon and click properties, then in the shortcut tab, there is a row that is labeled Run and to the right how it there is a dropdown list, change the setting to Maximized...click apply/ok.

done.

good luck
