Websites that require Passwords.

Why would your computer deny access to all websites that require a password? Computer is more than three years old, but all updates have been performed...Operating System is XP with SP2.

The diagnostic tool states the firewall is causing an error on port 80.

I have removed all antivirus software and reinstalled it.
I have removed all spyware and reinstalled it.
I disabled the firewall. I reset the default.
I tried to restore the computer to an earlier date...computer would not restore.

All websites that do not require using a password work perfectly.

Please help...thank you so much!!!

If you can see some sites, but not others, it's not the firewall.
It almost sounds like parental controls got turned on. FF probably imported IE settings when it was installed (whatever those settings might be). Firefox will most likely be easier to play around with the settings in because there are much fewer of them to mess with.

Hope that helps a bit.
