Ty but i have enough spyware removal software. I was more wondering about the sliding bar keep sliding. I just messioned that because it mite have contributed to it
I forgot to ask what version of IE you are using. Switching browsers probably isn't an option with the folks using it (set in their ways and all), but IE7 can be set to look like IE6 (pretty much).
I suspect that there may have been some registry damage in the catching/cleaning of spyware that is the cause of your trouble.
Un-installing the browser with Add/Remove Programs then reinstalling it should resolve the issue.
What worked well for me when I was using Internet Explorer was to go in to the advanced cookie options (can't remember the exact name of the button) and set it to allow session cookies and ask for approval for other types. This makes most sites happy and mostly hitting "Deny" a few times a day isn't really that big of a deal. Then, when using a secure site that you want cookies from, just hit "Accept". It doesn't take long to build a database of sites that are most often visited.
