The memory could not be written

I have XP with SvcPack 2 installed and I receive the following error message repeatedly whenever I am logged on to my computer.

The instruction at "oxooab96bc" referenced memory at "oxoooooooo". The memory could not be "written". Any suggestions welcome.

Sounds like a driver that does not belong to the motherboard you are using. Any chance you moved your HD to a new computer lately?

If you have the XP install CD, running the "R"epair option when your computer boots from that disk will probably fix the problem. Otherwise, the repair will depend a lot on which motherboard is in you machine. Please tell us all about your configuration. Thanks.
