"File Is Open" Error When Moving/Deleting Adobe Illustrator Document in Vista

Here is my challenge . I have a [pain Vista operating system] new syatem That when I save a Adobe Illustrator file to my desktop it is ok but when I try to move or delete the file I get a error key that is open ???
I never had the problem when I had XP. When I save as a EPS file no problem
and I know not to save in the future as a AI file but to clen up the old files ??

do u have adobe illustartor open at the time? if so this could be it:-P pn a serious not i had a problem deleting one of my folders in windows and a simple restart of the system was able to clear up the issue.

I think what is happening is this:
When you save as an EPS file, it creates a copy of the working file, however when you save it as an AI file, it keeps the file open (in Illustrator). If you close Illustrator, you should be able to move the file to your hearts content. Another solution would be to put it where you want it in the first place!
