If the 'Clear history' button is disbaled in 'Internet Properties' in the control Panel, how can it be enabled ?
Probably , by some settings in Registry ?
Please give me clues , ideas you have.

What happens if you get there from the IE menu bar instead (you are using IE, correct?)?

Why don't you upgrade to IE7? That should fix it.

No. This is not a problem.
This is disbaled by someone for security . Ofcourse there would be a way to enable it.
similarly, if you goto History from IE, you can not delete entry of any URL.
This was disbaled probably from registry?
