Network printer problem

Hai,

In my institute 20 systems are working with winxp sp2.with lan we are having one HP laser jet 2200 printer which connected with HP jet direct.taking print outs with network.
Last ten days ago it worked fine. now the problem is if the 330KB of PDF file is given to print it is taking as 48MB.And printing is very slow.it is caluculateing the 48 mb slowly and printing in past when the print out given it is printing very fast .all systems are having symantic anti-virus licenced up to one year.

PLS help me ......

Hello dadapeer!

I will look further into this, but PDFs are known to be unfriendly to printers, especially if there are numerous pages involved...
