i wouldnt delete anything unless i was 100% sure it wasnt needed

and i also wouldnt touch anything in the Windows folder, just to be on the safe side, plus, those folders contain system files, and im sure those do something useful

is it hard disk space you are worried about?

I'm sure that they would be useful if I wanted to Uninstall KB929338.
Just wondering if there's ever gonna be a need to do that.

If you delete them, you won't be able to uninstall many of the security fixes installed by windows update. But if you are absolutely sure you will never have to uninstall any of the security updates then you can go ahead and delete them =)

To be on the safe side and still save space, you can copy them onto a cd and if you need to uninstall simply copy them back.

Yeah, a little backup goes a long way. I'll do it that way.
