mapping to a mapped drive in windows

Hi,

Is it possible in windows to map to a drive that is already mapped ?

I need to be able to map from a winxp client to a drive that is already mapped on a win2003 svr ... not sure if this is possible or where to begin ...

cheers,

Eddie

yeah. right click on the current mapped drive.. click on disconnect. thereby disconnecting that share. Then remap the drive as you normally would.

Unless your meaning mapping to another folder in an already mapped drive. in which case.. your just map to that folder in that mapped drive and it will work fine. Hope this answers your question

sometimes the drive maps and saves the credentials without showing up in my computer, to view which ones are mapped if you open command prompt and type net use it will show you! :)
