How Memory Works?

14
Hi expert,

How the memory works? Explain how memory management works in details.
What are the application or services make intensive use of the memory?

What happens when OS run out of memory? How to resolve it? Another resolution other than adding more memory instead.

thanks

Greetings and salutations, OgaW!

Please forgive me for not going too much into it. I can only tell you from experience, MS Access is a space hog. If you are building a database, I would suggest you build the forms (front-ends) using VB, and the back-ends in Access. if you are building forms in Access, oh boy! Your memory is your destruction my friend. Weird things happend when Access is loading reloading forms. No worries though, you will find a number of articles/fixes for such problems. You will not have to add more memory, but will need to download a certain Microsoft file to your machine to make it all better, isn't Bill Gates great?

For others that may cause memory problems, I am not sure of them, leaving the door open for experts here to tell you.

VB Gui, OgaW, Access Back-end, you'll be happy you did :-)
