Problems after installing IE7

Hi, I have Windows Xp Home. I have Ad-Aware SE, AVG, and Spybot Search and Destroy.
I run all these programs Daily. I also Defrag. twice a week.
After I installed IE7 and got all my updates, now when I launch from the quick launch bar it hangs, after IE is open when I go to close it, it hangs...
I uninstalled IE7, and went back to IE6, but the same problems were still there, like not all of the IE7 was gone.
System restore is usless.
Does anyone know how to "Completely" get rid of all of the componets IE7 put on my system? Or what I can do to make it run smooth again like it use to?
I like IE7, but since I installed it, all these problems popped up.

Thanks so much
Dana

Hi Dana... You say that you got all your updates, but are you sure that this include Service Pack 2? I ask because you have not specified SP2 and it's crucial.

Hi try running IE7 in no add-ons mode Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) If no add-ons mode fixes your problems, then you are going to have to try and work out what third party product is causing your problems by disabling one add-on at a time, restarting IE, then testing. If disabling one doesn't work, re-enable it, restart IE, and try the next one.
