Ogranizing the "All Programs" menu in alphabetical order

In your All Programs Menu, some of your programs are in alphabetical order and
others are not. This makes it very difficult to seek out a program that may be hidden in a maze of program folders and files. The solution is simple: have the computer re-sort the menu.

When you install new programs, Windows XP tacks them to the end of your All
Programs menu, rather than inserting them in the correct alphabetical order. So every so often you have to re-sort the menu yourself.

1. Click Start.
2. Choose All Programs.
3. Right-click anywhere on the menu.
4. Choose Sort By Name.
5. Note that the sort order is always folders first, programs second.

Came across this today and would like to share it with all of you.
Its a quick tip that will save you time while navigating for those old programs that you decide to use only once in a while.

I've actually done this a couple of times. It then seems to revert to old sort order when I add a new program.

I don't know if it's because I use Clasic Menus or because I have User Personalized Menus checked in Customize Clasic Start Menu dialog, but newly added programs go to the bottom of the sorted list on my systems.
