running a remote executable on a remote machine

I have a 4 machine peer network I would like to be able to invoke an executable ( .exe file) on a remote machine and have it run on that remote machine - I do not want it to run on my machine.
How can this be done?

Of course, if I simply make a .bat file on my machine which invokes the remote machines executible - it runs and displays on my machine - not what I want. I want it to run and display on the remote machine on which it is invoked. How is this done? Any help or leads will be most appreciated..

You need a third party program such as dameware or a windows server operating system such ass windows small business server 2003.

Here is the link for dameware http://www.dameware.com/

Rexec.exe appears to invoke a server on the internet

"rexec.com" -- 192.168.0.13

There is no internet connection for the 4 machine peer network I am working with - it is in a location where there are not even any phone lines.

How would we use rexec.exe in such a situation?? What do we need to do to modify the script for our computers???

use

rexec.exe
