How to get saved bookmark from firefox in a file?

HI ,

I have saved many bookmark for firefox but because some reason I want to format my Windows XP.
Before that I want all the bookmark in single file ,is it possible?
Please help me out .

This is built right into firefox. What you want to do is export your bookmarks.

Go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks
This should open up a new window called Library.
From here go to Import and Backup > Export HTML
Select your directory and you should now have an HTML file of your bookmarks.
