Please help..I cant even log into runescape

Every time I log into runescape i get half way through the the loading process to runescape then it says "this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down".the when I see the details of the problem it says error in module something.

I've seen many of these questions on these boards. Try searching for "runscape" on this site (the search box at the top right will not search the whole internet). I hope you can find an answer that way.

There are 4 results but there not the same problem that I have.heres is what is a more detailed description [iexplore has caused an invalid page fault in module user.exe at 0003:00009114and then it just say's where its registered at.

Ive checked with runescape's customer support and it did not answer why this is happening..

I believe that it is the runescape server at fault. With this question being fielded by many on this forum, we have yet to find a problem on anyone's computer.

Generally speaking, when I have a browser crash issue - I simply run hijack this and remove ALL BHOs and Plugins - if one becomes corrupt on your system and your browser attempts to access it - guess what happens to your browser.

It works (almost) every single time.

I've played runescape for 7 years ive had this problem before make sure you have the latest version of java and even if you do redownload it then if your using a firewall make sure the port number that Jagex uses are enabled if you can get to the username password screen but cant login i would try this:

When you are selecting high detail or low detail scroll towards the bottom it says:

Select Java Version- only change this if the default doesnt work.

it should be on:

Signed Applet using default Java (recommended)

i would try changing it to a different one like:

Unsigned Applet using Java

if the problem still persist contact Jagex When you send them a message you may get an automatic repley it depends on if your a member or not if your not and none of these suggestions work then post back here and ill send in the problem on my account all ill need is your username.
