Sum units between time stamps

I have two tables; tblTime, this contains the emp#, Date, start time and end time. The 2nd table, tblUnits contains the emp#, Date and individually time stamped unit quantities.

I need to add the units between the start and end times. Not sure how to do this. I've attached an Excel file showing what I'm working with.
