Code for color change theming using code for vb6

Hey people...am doing a system development for my school exams. I was wondering whether you could help me find a way of putting a setting that allows one to change the theme i.e. change colors of the buttons,font and background with one button click and stuff...

Yes the windows system colors and if possible some custom colors as well.

I don't know of a way to change the Windows theme colors, but there would be ways to cycle through all the controls and change those colors according to a specific palette of colors. However, you could wind up with rather unexpected results.

Additionally, the code to do this to ensure you have all types of controls covered and all aspects of color display covered, would be rather extensive--far beyond what I would be willing to do for fun. Is there a reason this must be done programatically instead of jsut changing the colors?
