Is i possible to replace letter in visual basic?

Is it possible to replace a symbol in a listbox with another letter that you have typed in to a textbox. i have typed both the letter and the symbol into two differnt textboxes but i want to know if it is possible to replace the symbol i have entered in one text box with the letter i entered in the other text box.
