Access VBA & Citrix 2003/2008 sessions.

Hi All,

I am by no means a Citrix or Access expert (most likely a novice to most of you). I simply work on a 1st line helpdesk and am trying to resolve an issue that our 2nd line refuse to touch.

A user has created an Access database, that connects to outlook, he has Microsoft Access 2007 Runtime and Microsoft Access 2007. Runtime is published from the 2008 session, which is the same session that the user logs into. However Full Access 2007 is published from a 2003 session, which is launched from from the 2008 session when access is launched. The problem he is having is Access will connect to outlook whilst in the runtime, as they are in the same session, however when trying to do this from full Access, it is unable to talk to outlook as it is not published within the same session.

The configuration cannot be changed in anyway, we are looking for a solution to be able to reference to the 2008 session, to talk to outlook somehow..

Any know if this is possible?

Sorry for the non-jargon speak.
