timer for traffic light,that decrements each & light changes when it becomes zero...

i have made a visual basic project for traffic light,all the 3 lights are working properly....i need to insert a timer alongwith them,which should decrement each step for specific
light.....as soon as it becomes zero,light should change and new time should be displayed for that light and same process should be repeated... it should work as a real timer as in practical traffic lights......kindly help me in designing
vb6 code for the same.......
